MakePeace Media LTD (MPM) is a not for profit company limited by guarantee that raises funds for charities and community driven groups in Australia through a number of innovative funding programs.
We specialise in products we produce as well as selling original art and other donated artistic and literary goods for charity.
We have a proactive and ambitious outlook on the roles art and literature can play in community life in Australia and our Neighbours.
We believe in making things happen. Some of these things are:
- To raise funds for a variety of needful charities, NPOs and Community Groups across Australia.
- To foster a culture of charity in the Australian arts and publishing community furthering relief of poverty, illness and other charitable purposes for the benefit of the community.
- To involve aspiring and established writers, artists and creators and their audiences in charitable endeavour.
- To promote Australian art and literature in particular where it melds with philanthropy.
- To acheive these objectives MakePeace Media runs an online charity store specialising in products we produce as well as selling original art and other donated goods for charity.
A percentage of all items sold from the store is donated to The Northern Hospital in Epping, Victoria with the remainder donated to the producers choice of charity.
MakePeace Media is currently in a rebuilding phase and is working towards a 2009 relaunch.
